Installation Technician with Security Clearance

Primary Function: Provide implementation functions for DISA networking and infrastructure projects. Apply in-depth knowledge of DISA/DoD IT network infrastructure to a variety of assignments through the application of technical concepts, practices, and procedures. Perform equipment installations, including network infrastructure build-out, mounting telecommunication hardware, cable/fiber installation, terminations and testing. Ciena 6500, Juniper, Cisco and Sycamore (Coriant) installation experience is preferred. Report installation status and completion with thoroughness and accuracy.

Network Engineer (Security Clearance Required)

Responsibilities:
  • Design, plan, establish, and optimize networks and enterprise network architecture.
  • Develop network infrastructures and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization.
  • Lead and supervise teams.
  • Provide technical assessment of requirements and definition from conception through implementation.
  • Train and mentor other engineers.
  • Design and validate link performance, quality and reliability.
  • Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and adjust equipment.
  • Create manuals and support documentation.
  • Optimize existing network by adjusting network parameters, adding/deleting of neighbors and recommending possible solutions to hardware problems.
  • Monitor and analyze statistical and drive test data to improve system performance.
  • Apply propagation theory, cellular theory, RF engineering tools and antenna theory to choose device placement.
  • Responsible for capacity planning, GSM frequency planning and frequency hopping by applying carrier/interference (C/I) ratio analysis.

Senior Network Engineer (Security Clearance Required)

Program Manager (Security Clearance Required)

The Program Manager will
  • Provide oversight and leadership to Project Managers
  • Work with individual Project Managers to establish plans and goals for each project
  • Set objectives, assign tasks, allocate budgets and agree to timetables for achieving intermediate and overall goals
  • Review dates to ensure that projects stay on track and meet deadlines
  • Obtain the information they need to coordinate and monitor progress across all projects
  • Establish a formal reporting structure
  • Review contracts for supplies and services necessary for delivery of equipment, software, operation, installation and completion of the project
  • Coordinate any project changes, problems, issues with the sponsoring government agency/office that would affect the project schedule or any of the deliverables

Project Manager (Security Clearance Required)

Requirements:
  • Project Management skills including scope management, capacity planning, project scheduling, budgeting and tracking documents is required.
  • Strong financial acumen, proven ability to connect the linkages of the project results to the budget and identify business benefits.
  • Presentation skills and ability to communicate with all levels.
  • Persuasive, collaborative business acumen.
  • Knowledge of wireless technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, coordination and organizational skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware/software fundamentals with skills and knowledge in Microsoft office product lines, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Visio.
  • A minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Author and write documents, process diagrams, SOPs, etc.

Telecom Designer (Security Clearance Required)

REQUIREMENTS

  • A BICSI Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure design industry is required.

The Telecom Designer will:

  • The BICSI RCDD (Telecom Designer) will be present during any site surveys.
  • The upgraded infrastructure will be reviewed by a BICSI RCDD for adherence to standards.
  • Random checks by the RCDD of all aspects of infrastructure Upgrade will be performed on a recurring basis during the entire Upgrade process.
  • During the final inspection the BICSI RCDD will develop a punch list of items which need correction in order to accomplish certification.
  • The BICSI RCDD will conduct a Final walk-through with the customer representative for acceptance.

Telecom Technician IV (Security Clearance Required)

Requirements:
  • Experience with DoD, National, EIA/TIA and BICSI technical and OSHA safety standards.
  • The Telecom Tech IV shall have general knowledge of operating principles of wired, wireless and RF environments.
  • Wireless network (802.11b/g/a/n, WLAN/WWAN/WMAN) survey/deployment/support experience is preferred.
  • Possess a general knowledge of wired/wireless equipment installation and basic testing methods and procedures.
  • Ability to interpret and perform tasks outlined in vendor documentation, technical specifications, and network practices, engineering letters and job aids.
  • Knowledge of telephony networks, include DS1, DS3, OC, and various IP networks.
  • Dexterity to connect and disconnect various sizes and types of electronic connectors.
  • Ability to work in overhead rack or grid for extended periods of time pulling long lengths of heavy cables.
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs independently and up to 90 lbs. with assistance as necessary.
  • Ability to climb ladders and steep staircases, including scissor lifts.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in stressful and demanding work environments. Telecom Tech IV
  • Successful completion of OSHA training
  • A minimum of 5 years of cabling experience in data communications industry is required.

Responsibilities:

  • The Telecom Tech IV will be running and lacing Ethernet, and fiber cabling to include termination and testing as well as installing / removing overhead equipment mounts.

Drafter IV (Security Clearance Required)

Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of either basic engineering, architecture or construction principles.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, coordination and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware/software fundamentals with skills and knowledge in Microsoft office product lines, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Visio.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and equipment is required.

Network Designer/ Project Support (Security Clearance Required)

The Network Engineer will work with the engineering team Lead to support special projects including network equipment refresh, new site deployments, and new service offering rollout. In this role, the Network Engineer will provide backup support as needed, in support of emerging requirements. Other responsibilities include:
  • design, plan, establish, and optimize networks and enterprise network architecture
